Removal [09/2012 - ]

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  1
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  See step  2
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  See step  3
  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Remove the 2 clamps, loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly LH.
    3. Remove the element from the air cleaner case.
    4. Remove the 2 nuts, clip and air cleaner case.

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Remove the 2 clamps, loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly RH.
    3. Remove the element from the air cleaner case.
    4. Remove the 2 nuts, clip and air cleaner case.

  6. REMOVE VVT SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the 4 VVT sensor connectors.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 VVT sensors.
