Removal [09/2012 - ]

  1. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    This accelerator pedal does not require lubrication.

    Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

    If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.

    1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 3 nuts and accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
      NOTE:
      • Avoid physical shocks to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
      • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
  2. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the accelerator pedal.

      *1 Accelerator Pedal
      *2 Accelerator Pedal Support Bracket
      *3 Spring
      Wiggle
      Pull
      Front of Vehicle

      HINT: 

      While wiggling the tip of the accelerator pedal to the left and right, lift the accelerator pedal upwards and remove it from the bracket.
