DTC P062F: Internal Control Module EEPROM Error [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P062F) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2013 - ] .
    5. Turn the power switch off.
    6. Turn the Techstream off.
    7. Disconnect the Techstream.
    8. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
    9. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    10. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    11. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    12. Turn the Techstream on.
    13. Put the engine in inspection mode. Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE [09/2013 - ] .
    14. Start the engine and wait 30 seconds or more.
    15. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
    16. Read the DTCs.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output A
      DTC P062F is output B

  2. REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2013 - ] 
  3. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [09/2013 - ]
