Installation [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank.

   HINT: 

   Align the protrusion of the gasket on the intake air surge tank.

2. Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the throttle body.
3. Install the throttle body with the 4 bolts.

   Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the throttle body with motor (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

4. Connect the throttle motor connector.

1. Install the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose assembly with the 4 clamps and hose clamp.

   Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

   HINT: 

   Fit the protrusion on the air cleaner hose into the hole of the hose clamp on the throttle valve side.

2. Connect the VSV hose to the air cleaner hose.
3. Connect the mass air flow meter connector and clamp to the air cleaner.

   HINT: 

   Make sure the direction of the clip is as shown in the illustration.

HINT: 

Only perform this procedure when replacement of the intake air sound creator is necessary.

1. Install the intake air sound creator with the bolt and hose clamp.

   Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

   *1	Air Cleaner Hose

   HINT: 

   Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) without operating the accelerator pedal.
   NOTE:

   If the accelerator pedal is operated, perform the above steps again.

2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 and clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
3. Perform the "Inspection After Repairs" (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
4. Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated. After the engine is warmed up, check that the idle speed is within the specified range when the A/C is switched off.

   Standard

   Condition	Engine Idle Speed
   A/C switched off	600 to 700 rpm

   NOTE:

   • Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
   • Make sure that the shift lever is in neutral.
5. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / All Data / Throttle Sensor Position. Sensor Output. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check that the value is 60% or more.
6. Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
