DTC P060E: Internal Control Module Throttle Position Performance [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P060E) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream ON.
    4. Clear DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] .
    5. Turn the engine switch off and turn the Techstream off.
    6. Disconnect the Techstream.
    7. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute. Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] .
    8. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal. Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] .
    9. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    10. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    11. Turn the Techstream ON.
    12. Wait 16 seconds or more.
    13. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
    14. Read the DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [10/2014 - ] 
  3. REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]
