DTC C1A0A: Front Radar Sensor Region Code Mismatch [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR 
    1. Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List.
      RADAR CRUISE

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Country# (F Radar Sens) Front millimeter wave radar sensor country signal/JPN, NA, EURO, SAFC, OTHER, TWN, CHINA, THAI, GCC or NOFIXN NA -
    2. Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and vehicle.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      Country specification information for vehicle and front millimeter wave radar sensor match A
      Country specification information for vehicle and front millimeter wave radar sensor do not match (Japan←→Europe, Japan←→North America) B
      Country specification information for vehicle and front millimeter wave radar sensor do not match (North America←→Europe) C

      HINT: 

      • The country specification information of the driving support ECU is decided by the combination meter. Even if the vehicle and sensor country specification information match, if the country specification information for the vehicle and ECU/meter do not match, it is necessary to replace the ECU and meter.
      • When the country specification information (North America←→Europe) for the vehicle body and sensor do not match, the sensor's information can be overwritten by performing the sensor's axis adjustment.

    A → REPLACE COMBINATION METER AND DRIVING SUPPORT ECU 

  2. REPLACE FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] 
  3. ADJUST FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR. Refer to  ADJUSTMENT [10/2014 - ]
