Customize Parameters [01/2023 - ]

  1. CUSTOMIZE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the Multi-information Display
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      3. Using the steering pad switches, change the customize settings.

        HINT: 

        Each item is displayed on the "Setting" tab on the multi-information display.

        PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM SETTINGS

        Display Description Setting Default
        PCS Turns the pre-collision system function on/off. ON/OFF ON
        Sensitivity Sets the pre-collision system function warning sensitivity Early/Middle/Late Middle
    2. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Customize Setting Description Setting
        PCS Function ON/OFF State Stored Function to maintain the pre-collision system on/off setting when the engine switch is turned on (IG) from off. Not stored: Pre-collision system always turns on
        Stored: Pre-collision system maintains previous setting
        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 1 Function to set whether or not to store the warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is turned from off to on while the engine switch is on (IG). Not stored: Sensitivity setting is reset to Middle
        Stored: Sensitivity settings are maintained as previous value
        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 2 Function to set whether or not to store the warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is on and the engine switch is turned from off to on (IG). Not stored: Sensitivity setting is reset to Middle
        Stored: Sensitivity settings are maintained as previous value
        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 3 Function to set whether or not to store the warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is off and the engine switch is turned from off to on (IG). Not stored: Sensitivity setting is reset to Middle
        Stored: Sensitivity settings are maintained as previous value
