Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [07/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2015 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side (Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ] ).

  4. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor clamp from the body.

    3. Remove the bolt, front flexible hose and front speed sensor clamp together from the front shock absorber assembly.

      *1 Front Speed Sensor Clamp
      *2 Front Flexible Hose
    4. Disengage the clamp from the front shock absorber assembly.
    5. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

      NOTE:
      • Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the front speed sensor tip.
      • Clean the speed sensor installation hole and the contact surfaces every time the front speed sensor is removed.
