ATEQ TPMS Reset Procedure
NOTE:
If the tire pressure sensor and/or tire pressure monitor ECU are replaced, the transmitter ID needs to be registered in the tire pressure monitor ECU prior to system initialization. It is not necessary to register the sensor IDs when only tire rotation is performed.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
- Set the tire pressure of all wheels to pressure specified on the tire and loading information label.
- Select "Reset TPM System" on the TPMS3.
- Hold the TPMS3 against the side wall of the tire, within 3 inches of the valve stem. Press TEST button on the TPMS3 and read each of the sensor IDs in the following order: left front, right front, left rear, and then right rear.
- Connect the TPMS3 OBDII module to the Data Link Connector (DLC) located under the driver's side of the instrument panel.
- With the vehicle stopped and parking brake set, turn ignition switch to ON position. Do not start engine.
- When screen prompts to "CONNECT OBDII MODULE", press "Y" button on the TPMS3 to transmit sensor IDs.
- Select "MAIN" or "SECOND SET" on TPMS3.
- Press "Y" button on the TPMS3 to transmit sensor IDs to control module.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect the TPMS3 from DLC.
