Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
- Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf)
NOTE:If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET
- Install the ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf)
NOTE:If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Install the ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM
- Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
NOTE:- Install the ECM to the ECM box with the name plate facing the outside of the vehicle.
- Make sure that there is no foreign matter on the gasket surface of the ECM box.
- Insert the stud bolt on the vehicle rear side into the ECM first.
- Make sure that the stud bolts are securely installed into the front and rear bolt holes.
- Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
- CONNECT WIRE HARNESS
- Connect the connector of the engine wire to the ECM and lock with the lever.NOTE:
- When connecting a connector, make sure that dirt, water and other foreign matter is not stuck between the connector and ECM.
- Make sure that the lever is securely lowered.
- Connect the connector of the engine room main wire to the ECM and lock with the lever.NOTE:
- When connecting a connector, make sure that dirt, water and other foreign matter is not stuck between the connector and ECM.
- Make sure that the lever is securely raised.
- Connect the connector of the engine wire to the ECM and lock with the lever.
- INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER
- Install the engine room ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
NOTE:Make sure that the wire harness does not getcaught between the parts.
- Install the engine room ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
- INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

- INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 118
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
