Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Install a new No. 2 air tube gasket to the intercooler assembly with the protrusion of the No. 2 air tube gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

   NOTE:

   Install a new No. 2 air tube gasket to the intercooler assembly with the protrusion of the No. 2 air tube gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

1. Install a new throttle body gasket to the No. 2 air tube with the protrusion of the throttle body gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

   NOTE:

   Install a new throttle body gasket to the intercooler assembly with the protrusion of the throttle body gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

2. Install a new throttle body gasket to the intake manifold with the protrusion of the throttle body gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

   NOTE:

   Install a new throttle body gasket to the intercooler assembly with the protrusion of the throttle body gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

HINT: 

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 09/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2019 - ]

1. Install the throttle body with motor assembly and No. 2 air tube to the intake manifold with the 4 bolts.

   Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

2. Temporarily install the No. 2 air tube to the intercooler assembly with the 4 bolts.

   HINT: 

   Temporarily install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

3. Tighten the 4 bolts.

   HINT: 

   Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

   Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

4. Connect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 1 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the 2 hose clamps to secure them.
5. Connect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.
6. Install the 2 bolts to connect the No. 6 water by-pass pipe to the intercooler assembly and No. 2 air tube.

   Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

7. Engage the 2 engine wire clamps.
8. Connect the engine wire connector.
9. Connect the injector connector (for Direct Injection).

1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ]

3. Perform "Inspection After Repair".

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 09/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2019 - ]

4. Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated. After the engine is warmed up, check that the idle speed is within the specified range with the A/C switch off.

   Standard

   750 to 850 rpm

   NOTE:

   • Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
   • Make sure that the shift lever is in N or P.
5. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Throttle Sensor Position.

   Powertrain > Engine > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Throttle Sensor Position

6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check that the value of Throttle Sensor Position is 60% or higher.
7. Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
