Inspection [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

INSPECT FUEL DELIVERY PIPE ASSEMBLY LH (FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR)

NOTE:

Do not remove the fuel pressure sensor from the fuel delivery pipe assembly LH.
If a fuel pressure sensor is removed, replace the fuel delivery pipe assembly LH (fuel pressure sensor) with a new one.

Check the sensor output voltage.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
2 (PR) - 3 (E2)	Apply 5 V between terminals 1 (VC) and 3 (E2)	Approximately 0.5 V

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel delivery pipe assembly LH (fuel pressure sensor).

HINT:

The above voltage is output when pressure is not applied (0 kPa (0 kgf/cm² , 0 psi) to the sensor.
