Installation [08/2014 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Install the spiral cable sensor sub-assembly (See article. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
).NOTE:
- Do not replace the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly with the battery connected and the power switch on (IG).
- Do not rotate the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly without the steering wheel with the battery connected and the power switch on (IG).
- Ensure that the steering wheel is installed and aligned straight when inspecting the steering angle sensor.
- Do not remove the steering angle sensor from the spiral cable.
- Install the spiral cable sensor sub-assembly (See article. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
).
- INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
- ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
