Customize Parameters [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Record the current settings before customizing.

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    1. Customizing with the Techstream

      HINT: 

      The following PCS functions and the PCS warning timing can be changed from their default setting.

      Customize Setting Description Condition Setting
      PCS operation retention setting Maintains last user set pre-collision system operation state when conditions met Engine switch off→on (IG) OFF: Pre-collision system turns on
      ON: Previous state maintained
      PCS Warning Sensitivity Retention Setting 1 Sets warning timing to last user set level when conditions met Pre-collision system off→on OFF: Medium
      ON: Last user set level
      PCS Warning Sensitivity Retention Setting 2 Sets warning timing to last user set level when conditions met Pre-collision system on when engine switch turned to off, engine switch off→on(IG) OFF: Medium
      ON: Last user set level
      PCS Warning Sensitivity Retention Setting 3 Sets warning timing to last user set level when conditions met Pre-collision system off when engine switch turned to off, engine switch off→on(IG) OFF: Medium
      ON: Last user set level
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre- Collision 2 / Customize.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        PCS Warning Sensitivity Retention Setting 1 Selects the PCS alarm activation distance retention setting 1 OFF 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
        PCS Warning Sensitivity Retention Setting 2 Selects the PCS alarm activation distance retention setting 2 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
        PCS Warning Sensitivity Retention Setting 3 Selects the PCS alarm activation distance retention setting 3 OFF 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
