Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 09/2018] or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - ]
- Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly, and slide the hose clamp to secure the hose.
- Install a new gasket and the throttle body with motor assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the connector to the throttle body with motor assembly.
- Connect the No. 5 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly, and slide the hose clamp to secure the hose.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE
- Install the air cleaner cap and hose and fasten the 4 hook clamps.
- Tighten the hose clamp to secure the air cleaner hsoe.
Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
- Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose to the air cleaner hose and slide the clip to secure the hose.
- Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the connector to the mass air flow meter.
- ADD ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 116
- INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 117
- INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 118
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION NOTE:
- Be sure to perform this procedure after reassembling the throttle body or removing and reinstalling any throttle body component.
- Perform the following procedure after replacing the ECM, throttle body or any throttle body components. The following procedure should also be performed if the throttle body is cleaned.
- Be sure to perform this procedure after replacing the ECM and reconnecting the battery cable.
- Disconnect the EFI and ETCS fuses at the same time. Wait at least 60 seconds, and then reconnect the fuses.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) without operating the accelerator pedal.NOTE:
If the accelerator pedal is operated, perform the above steps again.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 and clear the DTCs.

- Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated and that the idle speed is within the specified range when the A/C is switched off after the engine is warmed up.
Standard idle speed
600 to 700 rpm
NOTE:- Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
- Make sure that the shift position is in neutral.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Throttle Position Sensor No. 1 Voltage %. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check that the value is 60% or more.
- Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
