Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (See article. Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2014 - 10/2015] Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2015 - ] ).
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See article. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - ] ).
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 or PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 or PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE ECM
- Disconnect the 2 ECM connectors and wire harness clamp.
- Push in the locks on the 2 levers, raise the levers, and disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.NOTE:
After disconnecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting part of the connectors.
- Push in the locks on the 2 levers, raise the levers, and disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.
Disconnect the clamp.
- Remove the 2 nuts and ECM.
- Disconnect the 2 ECM connectors and wire harness clamp.
- REMOVE ECM BRACKET
- REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER
- Disconnect the 3 claws and engine room ECU cover.
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU BOX
