Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. SEPARATE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and separate the rear wheel house liner.

  5. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Turn back the luggage compartment trim cover until the rear speed sensor connector can be seen.
    2. Disengage the rear speed sensor connector.

      *A for LH Side *B for RH Side
    3. Disconnect the pad wear indicator wire connector from the rear speed sensor.

      *1 Pad Wear Indicator Wire
      *2 Rear Speed Sensor
    4. Remove the 3 bolts and separate the rear speed sensor and 2 sensor clamps from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly and rear No. 2 upper control arm assembly.
      NOTE:
      • Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the rear speed sensor tip.
      • Clean the speed sensor installation hole and the contact surfaces every time the rear speed sensor is removed.
    5. Turn back the rear wheel house liner until the grommet can be disengaged.
    6. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 sensor clamps.

    7. Disengage the grommet and remove the rear speed sensor.
