Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the engine oil level sensor.
    2. Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil pan sub-assembly and rotate it 180° clockwise.

    3. Install the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 7.0 N*m (71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf) 

      HINT: 

      Be sure to clean the contact surface.

    4. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.
  2. INSTALL CRANK POSITION SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the crank position sensor bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Engage the clamp.
  3. INSTALL OIL COOLER TUBE 
    1. Install the oil cooler tube with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 13.5 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

  4. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67 [10/2015 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 67 [05/2018 - ]

  8. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 [10/2015 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 [05/2018 - ]

  9. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 69 [10/2015 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 69 [05/2018 - ]

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 96 [10/2015 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 97 [05/2018 - ]
