Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

Perform "clear the integrated current value", "switch battery type" after replacing the battery.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 09/2016] or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2016 - 09/2017] or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - ]

1. Install the battery to the vehicle.
2. Install the battery insulator to the battery.
3. Engage the guide and install the battery clamp sub-assembly to the battery carrier assembly.
4. Install the nut.

   Torque: 2.9 N*m (30 kgf*cm, 2 ft.*lbf) 

5. Engage the 2 clamps and connect the cable to the battery insulator.
6. Connect the cable to the positive (+) battery terminal and tighten the nut.

   Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

7. Engage the 2 claws to close the battery terminal connector cover.

   Install in this Direction

1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and tighten the nut.

   Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 09/2016] or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2016 - 09/2017] or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - ]

2. Engage the 2 claws to close the battery terminal negative connector cover.

   Install in this Direction
