Installation [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 SWITCH WIRE (w/o Lane Keeping Assist System) 

    HINT: 

    There is no need to remove this unless the No. 2 switch wire is replaced.

    1. Engage the 2 guides to install the No. 2 switch wire to the steering wheel assembly.

    2. Engage the No. 2 switch wire connector clamp to the steering wheel assembly.

  2. INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (w/o Lane Keeping Assist System) 
    1. Connect the 2 shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) connectors to install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) to the No. 1 switch wire.
    2. Engage the 5 guides to install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) with No. 1 switch wire to the steering wheel assembly.
    3. Install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) to the steering wheel assembly with 4 new screws.

      Torque: 1.7 N*m (17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the No. 1 switch wire connector.
  3. INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) 
    1. Engage the 6 guides to install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) with No. 1 switch wire to the steering wheel assembly.
    2. Connect the 2 shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) connectors to install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) to the No. 1 switch wire.
    3. Install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) to the steering wheel assembly with 4 new screws.

      Torque: 1.7 N*m (17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the No. 1 switch wire connector.
    5. Engage the guide to connect the No. 1 switch wire to the steering wheel assembly.
  4. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH (w/ Lane Keeping Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
