Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2020 - ]

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2020 - ]

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [08/2020 - ]

  6. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 12 water by-pass hose.

    2. Disconnect the throttle position sensor and control motor connector.
    3. Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body and gasket.

    4. Remove the No. 12 water by-pass hose from the throttle body.

    5. Remove the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the throttle body.
