- INSPECT PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Pattern Select Switch Assembly)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 6 (2ND) - 3 (E) ON Below 1 Ω OFF 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
- Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the pattern select switch assembly, and check the illumination condition of the pattern select switch assembly.
Standard
Tester Connection Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 5 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 4 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
