Installation [08/2015 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the acceleration sensor assembly with the bolt.

      *A for Type A
      *B for Type B

      for Type A 

      Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf) 

      for Type B 

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor assembly.
      • Do not drop the acceleration sensor assembly. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
      • There are 2 types of bolts and the tightening torque depends on the type of bolt used as shown in the illustration. Therefore, confirm the tightening torque before installing the bolt.
    2. Connect the connector.
    3. Return the luggage compartment trim cover RH to its original position.
  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Install the luggage compartment trim cover RH with the 3 clips (A).

    2. Install a new clip (B).
    3. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.
    4. Engage the 2 claws to close the cover.
  3. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  4. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  5. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  6. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  7. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  8. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2017 - 09/2020]
