Installation [08/2015 - 09/2020]: Procedure
- INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR
- Insert the connector and grommet of the rear speed sensor into the inside of the vehicle through the hole in the wheel house.
*A for LH Side *B for RH Side *a Connector *b Grommet *c Band Clamp *d Grommet Installation Range Outside of Vehicle Top of Vehicle NOTE:Make sure the band clamp remains on the outside of the vehicle.
- Hold the tube of the grommet and pull it toward the outside of the vehicle, then secure the grommet to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
- When pulling out the grommet, do not grip the sensor wire.
- Secure the grommet in place within the range shown in the illustration.
- Install the 2 sensor clamps with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf)
NOTE:Do not twist the rear speed sensor wire harness when installing it.
- Return the rear wheel house liner to its original position.
- Install the 2 sensor clamps and rear speed sensor to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly and rear upper control arm assembly with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the rear speed sensor tip.
- Firmly insert the rear speed sensor body into the rear axle carrier sub-assembly before tightening the bolt.
- After installing the rear speed sensor to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly, make sure that there is no clearance between the rear speed sensor stay and rear axle carrier sub-assembly. Also make sure that no foreign matter is stuck between the parts.
- Do not twist the rear speed sensor wire harness when installing it.
- Connect the connector on the inside of the vehicle.NOTE:

- Return the luggage compartment trim cover to its original position.
- Insert the connector and grommet of the rear speed sensor into the inside of the vehicle through the hole in the wheel house.
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER
- Install the rear wheel house liner with the 2 nuts.
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N.m (1050 kgf/cm, 76 ft.lbf)
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
- INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

- INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
