Installation [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY (FRONT SPEED SENSOR) 

    HINT: 

    The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the sensor malfunctions, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.

    1. Install the front axle hub (Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2015 - ] ).
  2. CHECK FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. CHECK FRONT AXLE HUB RUNOUT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. INSTALL FRONT DISC (for 6-Pot Caliper) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. INSTALL FRONT DISC (except 6-Pot Caliper) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. CONNECT FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for 6-Pot Caliper) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. CONNECT FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (except 6-Pot Caliper) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  8. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE 
    1. Connect the connector to the front speed sensor.

    2. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the pad wear indicator connector.
    4. Install the 2 sensor clamps with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not twist the sensor wire when installing the clamps.

    5. Install the sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not twist the sensor wire when installing the clamp.

      *1 Front Fender Liner
    6. Attach the sensor clip.
    7. Connect the sensor connector.
    8. Connect the front fender liner.
  9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL 

    Torque: 140 N*m (1428 kgf*cm, 103 ft.*lbf) 

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2015 - ] ).

  11. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  12. CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL 

    (Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [09/2015 - ] )
