On-Vehicle Inspection [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after repairing air leaks in the intake system (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2015 - ] ).

1. Check that there are no vacuum leaks at the points.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the tester on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Activate the VSV for Intake Control.
5. When power is supplied, check that the actuator rod operates.

1. Check that the air cleaner filter elements are not excessively dirty.

   If the air cleaner filter elements are excessively dirty, replace both of them at the same time.
