Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing (Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2015 - ] ).

    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2015 - ] ).

  2. REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ]

  3. REMOVE STEERING SENSOR 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and 2 pins, and remove the steering sensor from the spiral cable sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the claws and pins of the spiral cable sub-assembly.
