Customize Parameters [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Record the current settings before customizing.

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Others or Pre-collision System / Customize.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        PCS Operation State Retention Setting operation state retention setting on/off OFF 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
        PCS Alarm Activation Distance Retention Setting 1 Selects the PCS alarm activation distance retention setting 1 OFF 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
        PCS Alarm Activation Distance Retention Setting 2 Selects the PCS alarm activation distance retention setting 2 ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
        PCS Alarm Activation Distance Retention Setting 3 Selects the PCS alarm activation distance retention setting 3 OFF 0:OFF, 1:ON Driving support ECU assembly
        PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM

        Customize Setting Description Setting
        PCS Operation State Retention Setting Function to maintain the pre-collision system on/off setting when the engine switch is turned off and then on (IG). OFF: Not maintained (Pre-collision system always turns on)
        ON: Maintained
        PCS Alarm Activation Distance Retention Setting 1 Function to maintain the sensitivity setting of the pre-collision system when the pre-collision system is turned off and then on. OFF: Not maintained (Setting changes to "Mid")
        ON: Maintained
        PCS Alarm Activation Distance Retention Setting 2 Function to maintain the sensitivity setting of the pre-collision system when the engine switch is turned off while the pre-collision system is on. OFF: Not maintained (Setting changes to "Mid")
        ON: Maintained
        PCS Alarm Activation Distance Retention Setting 3 Function to maintain the sensitivity setting of the pre-collision system when the engine switch is turned off while the pre-collision system if off. OFF: Not maintained (Setting changes to "Mid")
