Customize Parameters [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make notes of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Power Window.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Tester Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Door Key P/W Up OFF This function is used to close the windows by operating the mechanical key. OFF/ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Door Key P/W Down OFF This function is used to open the windows by operating the mechanical key. OFF/ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        P/W Down W/ Transmit* OFF This function is used to open the windows using the wireless key transmitter. OFF/ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        D Window Auto Up ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto up function for the driver door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door))
        D Window Auto Down ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto down function for the driver door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door))
        P Window Auto Up ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto up function for the front passenger door window using the power window regulator switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door))
        P Window Auto Up From Driver ON This function is used to enable or disable the remote auto up function for the front passenger door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door))
        P Window Auto Down ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto down function for the front passenger door window using the power window regulator switch assembly OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door))
        P Window Auto Down From Driver ON This function is used to enable or disable the remote auto down function for the front passenger door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door))
        RR Window Auto Up ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto up function using the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door). OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door))
        RR Window Auto Up From Driver ON This function is used to enable or disable the remote auto up function for the rear RH door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door))
        RR Window Auto Down ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto down function using the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door). OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door))
        RR Window Auto Down From Driver ON This function is used to enable or disable the remote auto down function for the rear RH door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door))
        RL Window Auto Up ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto up function using the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door). OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door))
        RL Window Auto Up From Driver ON This function is used to enable or disable the remote auto up function for the rear LH door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door))
        RL Window Auto Down From Driver ON This function is used to enable or disable the remote auto down function for the rear LH door window using the multiplex network master switch assembly. OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door))
        RL Window Auto Down ON This function is used to enable or disable the auto down function using the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door). OFF/ON Power window ECU (Power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door))
        • *: w/ Side Marker Light
      6. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Wireless Door Lock.
      7. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        P/W Wireless Ope Buzz* ON This function turns the wireless power window buzzer response on or off. OFF/ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        • *: w/ Side Marker Light
      8. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Security.
      9. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Window Open Warning ON This function is used to enable or disable the window open warning. OFF/ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
