Removal [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [05/2023 - 09/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [05/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [05/2023 - ]

  5. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to REPLACEMENT [03/2017 - ]

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 PCV HOSE 

    See step  6

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 3 PCV HOSE 

    See step  7

  8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  9. REMOVE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.

    2. Using a 22 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the engine oil temperature sensor from the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      If the engine oil temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine oil temperature sensor.
