Inspection [01/2017 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT ABSORBER CONTROL SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (P) - 1 (GND) Combination switch assembly knob turned and held at S/S+ position Below 10 Ω 4 (P) - 1 (GND) Combination switch assembly knob not turned to S/S+ position 10 kΩ or higher 6 (B) - 1 (GND) Normal/Custom mode switch pushed and held Below 10 Ω 6 (B) - 1 (GND) Normal/Custom mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the absorber control switch (combination switch assembly).

(Absorber Control Switch (Combination Switch Assembly)) - Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the combination switch assembly.
Standard
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 8 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 5 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the absorber control switch (combination switch assembly).
