Removal [05/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After the power switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [05/2023 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Push in the locks on the 2 levers, raise the 2 levers, and disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.

      Raise
      Push
      NOTE:

      After disconnecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting part of the connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and ECM.
      NOTE:

      If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

      NOTE:

      If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.

      NOTE:

      If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.
