Removal [09/2014 - 03/2019]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 08/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 03/2019]
- SEPARATE FRONT FENDER LINER
- Remove the screw and separate the front fender liner.
- REMOVE FRONT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
- Disconnect the pad wear indicator wire connector from the front skid control sensor wire.
*1 Pad Wear Indicator Wire *2 Front Skid Control Sensor Wire - Disconnect the front skid control sensor wire connector from the front axle hub sub-assembly.
- Remove the bolt and sensor clamp from the steering knuckle.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 sensor clamps from the front shock absorber assembly and vehicle body.
- Turn back the front fender liner.

- Disconnect the pad wear indicator wire connector from the front skid control sensor wire.
- SEPARATE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE FRONT DISC
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
HINT:
- If the front speed sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
- The front speed sensor is a component of the front axle hub sub-assembly. If the front speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the front axle hub sub-assembly.
