Removal [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [09/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

    3. Disengage the 4 clamps to separate the vacuum hose from the intake air surge tank assembly.

    4. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
    5. Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
    6. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
