On-Vehicle Inspection [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER ASSEMBLY

Turn the engine switch on (IG) (do not start the engine).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / All Data / MAF.

Blow air into the mass air flow meter assembly and check that the value of mass air flow meter assembly fluctuates.

The value changes.

If the result is not as specified, clean (air blow) the mass air flow meter assembly.

Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]

After cleaning (air blowing) the mass air flow meter assembly, perform an on-vehicle inspection of the mass air flow meter assembly again and replace the mass air flow meter assembly if the result is not as specified.
