      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 (L) - 1 (B) 15 to 25°C (59 to 77°F) 10 to 14 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the height control compressor.

  2. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (COMPRESSOR MOTOR)
    1. Check the compressor operation.
      1. Apply 12 V battery voltage to the compressor motor and check the operation of the motor.

        OK

        Measurement Condition Specified Value
        12 V battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)
        12 V battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (E)
        Motor operates

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Compressor Motor)
        NOTE:
        • Do not operate the height control compressor for 60 seconds or more.
        • Stop applying voltage immediately if the compressor stops operating because a short will occur and the compressor motor will lock up, causing a flow of excessive current.

If the result is not as specified, replace the height control compressor.
