Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTE:- w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Condition Waiting Time Vehicle enrolled in safety connect system 6 minutes Vehicle not enrolled in safety connect system 1 minute - When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - 08/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2022 - ] ).
- w/ Navigation System:
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL LH
- REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR COVER
- Remove the 3 clips and height control compressor cover.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2021 - ]
- REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL FILTER
- DISCONNECT NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE
- Disconnect the No. 2 height control tube from the No. 2 height control valve (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ]
).
HINT:
For the disconnection procedure of the tube (type 2), refer to Precaution of the Suspension Control System section.
- Disconnect the No. 2 height control tube from the No. 2 height control valve (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ]
).
- REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR BRACKET
