REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for AWD)
Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - ]
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR

for Bank 1:

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

for Bank 2:

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

for Bank 1:

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

Grommet

Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: rear catalyst).

NOTE:

If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

for Bank 2 (for 2WD):

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

Grommet

Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: rear catalyst).

NOTE:

If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

for Bank 2 (for AWD):

Disengage the 6 clips and remove the front floor cover LH.

Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor grommet from the vehicle body.

Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: rear catalyst).

NOTE:

If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
