Removal [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Disengage the clamp.

2. Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly connectors and water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.
3. Remove the bolt to disconnect the engine wire from the timing chain cover assembly.
4. Disengage the claw and open the cover of the fuel hose clamp as shown in the illustration.

5. Remove the fuel hose clamp from the fuel tube connector.
6. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 2 fuel tube sub-assembly.

7. Disengage the 4 clamps.

8. Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the engine wire from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
9. Disconnect the 2 VVT sensor connectors.
10. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly.

11. Disconnect the fuel pump assembly connector.

1. Disconnect the 6 ignition coil assembly connectors.

2. Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coil assemblies.
   NOTE:

   If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

   HINT: 

   Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

   NOTE:

   If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

   HINT: 

   Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
