Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL PAD 
    1. Detach the 4 claws to remove the accelerator pedal pad.

  2. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [07/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2022 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL(W/SENSOR) ROD ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Avoid excessive force to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
    • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
    • This accelerator pedal does not require lubrication.

      Do not apply oil or lubricant to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.

      If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
