Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [05/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [05/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
      NOTE:

      If the crankshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Perform this procedure only when reusing the crankshaft position sensor.

      1. Remove the O-ring from the crankshaft position sensor.
        NOTE:
        • Make sure to only remove the O-ring with bare hands.
        • When removing the O-ring, be careful not to damage the O-ring groove of the crankshaft position sensor.
        • If the O-ring groove of the crankshaft position sensor is damaged, replace the crankshaft position sensor with a new one.
