Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [05/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [05/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [05/2023 - ]

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 PCV HOSE 

    See step  6

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 3 PCV HOSE 

    See step  7

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  8. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the front water by-pass joint.

      NOTE:

      If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
