Inspection [01/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (VSC OFF Switch (Combination Switch Assembly))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      8 (+) - 1 (E) Switch pushed Below 1 Ω
      Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch (combination switch assembly).

    2. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 10 (ILL+)
      Battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)      		 Illuminates

      *a Component without harness connected

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch (combination switch assembly).
