Removal [01/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [06/2019 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [05/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSS MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [06/2019 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [05/2023 - ]

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 PCV HOSE 

    See step  6

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    See step  8

  7. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Bank 2:

      1. Remove the 2 nuts.
      2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
      3. Disconnect the E.F.I. vacuum sensor connector.
      4. Remove the bolt.

      5. Remove the clip and No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.

      6. Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
      7. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies.

    2. for Bank 1:

      1. Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
      2. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies.
  8. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
