Installation [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL WAY 
    1. Connect the No. 8 height control tube and rear No. 8 height control tube.

      *1 No. 8 Height Control Tube
      *2 Rear No. 8 Height Control Tube

      Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2017 - ]

      NOTE:
      • Connect the height control tube uniformly in alphabetical order.
      • Replace the O ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.
    2. Install the height control way with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector.
  2. CHECK CONNECTIONS OF TUBES FOR AIR LEAKAGE 
    1. Install the front wheel RH.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2023 - ]

    2. Check the connections of the tubes for air leakage.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2017 - ]

    3. Remove the front wheel RH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH 
    1. Install the front fender liner RH with the 11 screws and 13 clips.

  4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH 
    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the front fender wheel opening moulding RH.

  5. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER RH (for 2WD) 
    1. Attach the claw.

    2. Install the engine side cover RH with the 4 clips.
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 183 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 183 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 184 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 183 [10/2023 - ]

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 186 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 186 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 187 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 186 [10/2023 - ]

  8. INSTALL TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 187 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 187 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 188 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 187 [10/2023 - ]

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 188 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 188 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 189 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 188 [10/2023 - ]

  10. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2023 - ]

  11. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT 
    NOTE:

    If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.

    1. Change the height control switch from the "NORM" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORM" position again.
    2. Measure the vehicle height.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2023 - ]

  12. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2023 - ]

    NOTE:

    If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

  13. CHECK HEIGHT CHANGE OPERATION 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2017 - ]
