Removal [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE COVER RH (for 2WD) 
    1. Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the engine side cover RH.
  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH 
    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the front fender wheel opening moulding RH.

      Thin-bladed Screwdriver Insertion Position

      HINT: 

      Insert a thin-bladed screwdriver from the vehicle side and bend the claw to remove it.

  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH 
    1. Remove the 11 screws, 13 clips and front fender liner RH.

  9. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL WAY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      *1 No. 8 Height Control Tube
      *2 Rear No. 8 Height Control Tube
    2. Using SST, disconnect the No. 8 height control tube and rear No. 8 height control tube.
      • SST: 09730-00020 

      Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2017 - ]

    3. Remove the bolt and height control way.
