Inspection [12/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT ACCELERATION SENSOR
    1. Connect 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in series.
    2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the batteries to terminal 3 (SGB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (SGG).
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      FOR LH SIDE:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L47-1 (SGFL) - L47-2 (SGG) Sensor stationary Approx. 2.0 to 2.5 V
L47-1 (SGFL) - L47-2 (SGG) Sensor vibrating vertically Changes between approx. 0.9 and 3.6 V
      FOR RH SIDE:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L36-1 (SGFR) - L36-2 (SGG) Sensor stationary Approx. 2.0 to 2.5 V
L36-1 (SGFR) - L36-2 (SGG) Sensor vibrating vertically Changes between approx. 0.9 and 3.6 V
