Installation [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. for LH Side:
      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.

        Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.
        • Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
      3. Return the floor carpet to its original position.
    2. for RH Side:
      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.

        Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.
        • Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
      3. Return the floor carpet to its original position.
  2. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42

  6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37

  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2017 - 10/2020]

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
