Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2015 - 08/2019] Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 
  4. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the speed sensor LH connector.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the bolt and sensor clamp.

    3. Detach the 5 clamps.

    4. Detach the 3 clamps.

    5. Disconnect the speed sensor RH connector.

    6. Remove the bolt.

    7. Disconnect the connector, and remove the bolt and skid control sensor wire.

  5. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH 
    1. Remove the nut and speed sensor.

      NOTE:

      Pull out the sensor while trying as much as possible not to rotate it.

  6. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH
