Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [10/2014 - 09/2016], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [09/2016 - 05/2019], or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [05/2019 - ]

  3. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the 2 ground wires.
    3. Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket.
